Mr. Corbitt, a/k/a Corbitt Williams, was born and raised on a bayou in Pensacola, Florida and spent his childhood going to his grandparents' farm, helping out at his dad's seafood market, and developing his passion for singing and performing. He holds a bachelor's of fine art degree in musical theater performance from The Boston Conservatory, with twenty years of classical and pop/rock vocal training under his belt, as well as 10 years of classical acting and dance classes. After working professionally in Boston and New York City and touring with Theaterworks and Disney Cruise Lines, he discovered his love and passion for working in early childhood education and spent many years developing his skills with Gymboree Play-n-Learn and Citibabes, who gave him his start writing his own curriculum, teaching grown-up-and-me music classes, and creating family-friendly performances. Since 2023, Mr. Corbitt has performed a concert series for young children and their grown-ups called Musical Storytime. Mr. Corbitt currently resides in Newburgh, NY with his hubby, Ben, his cat, Owen, and his dog, Kyra.
